Return and Refund Policy

What is the return policy?

If you have not opened the package, looked into it or breathed into it, we’re happy to check back with our merchants for a return within fifteen days. (Just as you would not like to use a personal care product opened by someone else, our other customers share the sentiment too.) If it is unopened and you still have the purchase receipt, email us at support@sassafrasco.com, and we will do our best to fix the issue.

Can I replace or exchange an item rather than a refund?

At the moment, we do not offer replacement or exchange of an item. However, you can still return an item and receive a full refund.

When will I get my refund?

Usually in about 3-4 weeks. It would take about 3-5 days after we receive your request to process your return.

How can I receive a refund if I paid by Credit Card?

If you have paid through electronic means (Credit or Debit card), the paid amount will be refunded to your card. The amount paid may take up to a month to reflect in your card statement, depending on individual’s bank process.

I received a defective/damaged item, can I get a refund?

When you contact our Customer Service Team about a return, you will be provided with a physical address to which you should ship the items, in the same condition as you received it with the original box and/or packaging intact. Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it and if the item is found to be defective or damaged, we will process the refund along with any shipping fees incurred.

I received the wrong item, how can I return it?

On the rare ocassion where the item received is not the one you ordered, you can return the item in the same condition in which you received it (unopened, in the original box, and with all seals untampered with).

When are returns not possible?

There are a few certain scenarios where it is difficult for us to support returns:

  • Return request is made outside the specified time frame, of 15 days from delivery
  • Product is either used, damaged, or not in the same condition as you received it
  • Products with missing or tampered serial numbers
  • Anything missing from the package you've received including price tags, labels, original packing and samples
